i made it back from alaska
on july 2- trip was amazing. i trekked exit glacier and then toured
another glacier via a boat and headed to katmai natl park for a
flyfishing trip on the alagnak river. the garfield artworks opening
went well on july 6, great feedback from photographers, teachers, and
patrons alike. closing reception at garfield artworks set for
saturday july 28 from 4-7pm. debris magazine set to come out end
of july- i wrote an article on silver eye's The Looking Glass and i
will be a featured artist in the december quarterly issue. check
out www.debrismagazine.com
in a few weeks to check out pgh's new arts magazine!

moved back to pittsburgh,
got ready for my garfield artworks opening and headed to alaska for 2
weeks!

i'm
working on my images from my late april/ early may superior trip which
ended up being 5 days due to a blown radiator. working on some
articles to drive more traffic to this site too. heading back to
pittsburgh pa for a long weekend.

just got
my camera back from canon service center- i guess the 40 mph
winds along lake superior kicked a bunch of unwelcome dust in! working
on fine tuning the website, adding affiliate banner links to major
online stores and editing the photos i took along lake superior.
i spent most of my time in grand marais, minnesota which was great
even given the rough weather and lack of photo opps. i will be holding
off on updating the website with new photos for the time being given
the upcoming summer shows and festivals. for those who have purchased
prints in the past i will send a special link for you to check out my
ongoing work.

i added 59 images and a new gallery feb 13 2007- more finkel images
and minnesota winter shots in the black and white and color galleries
and new lake superior gallery. i survived 20 below temps at
tettagooche state park near lake superior a few weeks ago! thank you
to those who have purchased prints and passed on the website link to
others!
