Named after a dismantled Duquesne blast Furnace, this new gallery spot is located 6 miles from down town Pittsburgh in the Allegheny County borough of Braddock. When Dorothy 6 was in operation, it employed many of the residents of the Mon Valley, and when US Steel shut down the furnace, it meant the loss of many jobs and began the decline of Braddock's economy. A gallery space presented by the Steel Valley Arts Council are free and open
